Trucs

A striking, percussive duo, TRUCS brings together Alexis Toussaint and Romain Colautti — also members of the group Artús — for an unconventional performance.

On stage, the two percussionists augment their drum kits with cowbells, chimes, string tambourines, and electronic devices — new extensions through which they summon ancestral sounds that once echoed across the mountains, marking the life of shepherds and their flocks.

Sometimes hypnotic, often strangely modern, the resulting syncopated symphonies shape imaginary transhumances, somewhere at the edges of hallucinated peaks.
