Muzungu delivers a raw, organic music made for dancing. Its core trio sometimes invites other musicians to join them and unleash a chaotic, joyful dancefloor — a fleeting refuge where the urgency of the collective takes form.

Emile Biayenda, Tatiana Paris, and David Merlo have forged their musical identities through hybridization. Rumba, noise, post-rock, contemporary and experimental music, Mandinka music, jazz... all orbit around their meeting.

Together, they channel their origins into a place where minds stop naming and bodies start moving. These are the places they inhabit — aimless, dancing wanderers. Basungu.
