Lurodei

Lurodei is, above all, the meeting of two voices — Maylis Raynal and Manon Irigoyen. Both artists hail from the Basque Country, where they draw strength and inspiration from traditional songs that mark the rhythm of life.

From that tradition, they’ve crafted a unique breath carried by the airy lightness of their voices, as well as by the instrumental setup that accompanies them: synthesizers and other melodic electronic machines.

The result is a resolutely poetic polyphonic fusion — a timeless celebration of nature, freedom, and love, sung in both Basque and French. Their first EP, “Txorien Begietan – Dans Les Yeux Des Oiseaux”, recorded outdoors in Bayonne, was released in November 2024.
