Coral Rojo

A five-voice vocal ensemble from Chile, Coral Rojo performs original music inspired by traditional forms from the Americas.

Their sonic identity is shaped by encounters and learning with ancestral knowledge keepers from the Andes and other regions, for whom singing is above all a spiritual act.

This path, combined with the urban backgrounds of the members, gives rise to a creolized and contemporary artistic expression: a polyphonic chant for the spirit, where melodies, timbres and languages from indigenous and creole cultures intertwine, touched by distant influences such as traditional choirs from Eastern Europe and the Caucasus.
